Adobe MAX 2016Adobe MAX SegmentPhotographyUncategorized

Calling all designers, photographers, educators, artists and photo-enthusiasts looking for new and creative ways to express your creativity. We have a few open spots in a brand new pre-conference at MAX, Image Imaginarium, brought to you by the same artists that provided the Tintype Booth in the Adobe Make It Experience at MAX last year.

Led by artist Bonny Lhokta and multidisciplinary artist, Jake Weien. This is a unique hands-on experience focused on creating and taking images from analogue to digital. Participants will walk away with several prints to bring home. Prints will be done on metal, wood, plastic, paper or other materials.

This is your chance to untether yourself from your computers and dive back into the real word by using hand made objects, layering and other techniques to simulate what can be done on a machine for image making. The goal is to broaden creative thinking and find new ways to express your ideas.

In this hands-on workshop, you will:

  • Create one-of-a-kind works of art that will transfer onto canvas, metal or hard-plastic
  • Learn to focus on and immerse yourself in the creative process before you snap the shot
  • Create your own analogue filters
  • Expand your techniques and Adobe mobile app knowledge

Preconferences are your chance to stretch your creative muscles outside of the confines of work, and focus on exploring your creative impulses, and this one is particularly unique. If you’re thinking about signing up for a MAX preconference to kick off your conference experience, we highly suggest you give this one a try.

We’ll see you at MAX!
