Inspiration can strike at any moment, whether it’s that perfect shade of yellow or the outline of graffiti against a wall. Mobile apps are becoming vital to the creation process, allowing people to create when the urge strikes. However, it’s sometimes still difficult and cumbersome to take that creation process from mobile to desktop, where most still finish their creations. We want to make it easier.

We build products that enable the creative process, like our suite of cloud-enabled mobile apps that connect to our top-notch desktop tools, like Adobe Photoshop CC and Illustrator CC. Instead of emails and flash drives, we’re offering a sophisticated, efficient way to create across devices.

While we have a fantastic set of mobile offerings, there are a lot of mobile apps that enhance the creative process. We’re now enabling those apps to connect to our platform to further bridge that gap between mobile and desktop, and ensure your creations are always connected to Creative Cloud.

We’re showcasing a small sample of those apps here with ProCamera, PANTONE Studio, and Tayasui Sketches, which offer their users powerful creative technology on mobile and a connection to your favorite Adobe products on the desktop.

ProCamera is an all-in-one photo app that gives you photo, video, and editing capabilities with the same level of control as a DSLR, but many users still finetune their photos in Photoshop CC. Now, ProCamera offers those users the option to directly send an image file from within the app to their desktop versions of Adobe Photoshop CC or Adobe Illustrator CC. Alternatively, you can also save a photo to your Creative Cloud account, making it available on any device or Creative Cloud connected app with your Adobe ID. This opens up your workflow — snap a photo or video, edit it quickly in ProCamera and then send it straight to Adobe Photoshop CC on your desktop to finish your work of art!

Do you ever see a PANTONE color that inspires you, but then can’t remember the name when working in Adobe Photoshop CC or Adobe Illustrator CC? We understand. It’s easy to get lost in the vast array of beautiful colors PANTONE offers. PANTONE Studio is a mobile app that helps you to discover, identify and keep track of the color palettes that inspire you. Now, you can save those palettes straight into Creative Cloud and use them in your Creative Cloud mobile or desktop apps. You’ll never miss out on using Rose Quartz or Serenity in your designs again!

Tayasui Sketches

Tayasui Sketches offers a versatile and realistic sketching experiences for users on their mobile devices, but that’s often only the starting point for a design. Users then have to send themselves those files, going through the hassle of emailing and then downloading their assets to continue working on those files on their computers. But now, Tayasui Sketches and Sketches Pro users can save their sketches from the app straight to their Creative Cloud accounts with their layers and edits preserved as Adobe Photoshop (PSD files). No need for emailing or transferring files!

Creative workflows can feel disjointed when working across platforms, apps and devices. It’s important to us to improve users’ workflows, and allow them to get back to what they do best — create. We’re powering an ecosystem of Creative Cloud connected apps, some built by Adobe and some by our partners, to provide creatives with a seamless workflow and put more powerful creative technology in our users’ hands.

We’re excited for the future of the Creative Cloud ecosystem, and grateful for our fantastic partner apps. With their help, we will continue to enable and simplify the creative process. Hope you enjoy these new and improved experiences!
